Spandau Hospital – Modernization of refrigeration system

Vivantes - Netzwerk für Gesundheit GmbH is modernizing the cooling infrastructure at the Spandau site, Berlin. This project comprises the renewal of the existing refrigerating machine (500 kW) at identical nameplate capacity and an additional refrigerating asset of 300 kW. Existing absorption chillers of 200 kW each were integrated into this renewed system. The system was completed by a 300 kW free cooling system and the revitalization of an ice store system to cover demand peaks.
