A gap in district heat generation appeared for Hanau public utility system with the failure of one of the power plant units of the E.ON Staudinger power station. The expansion of an additional flexibly usable hot water generator at the Wolfgang location was required to secure the necessary supply. Based on the preliminary study carried out by BLS Energieplan, a combination of two boilers was selected, planned and constructed.
