At the moment, the heat for the existing buildings of EUREF grounds in Berlin-Schöneberg is supplied by GASAG Contracting GmbH.
A large number of new-build projects are planned on the campus over the next few years. Hence legislative requirements emerge concerning conceptual changes to the planned expansion and interim scenarios for the building sequence in terms of the heat supply based on statutory conditions (subject to 'heat EEG (Renewable Energies Act)'), as well as for the expansion of utilities with cold supply.
For this, a new energy center with a boiler and a CHP plant was constructed. The CHP plant features an electrical capacity of 400 kW after the 1st stage of construction.
BLS Energieplan GmbH provided engineering services for transformers and compressor chilling, as well as MV and LV circuits. At the 1st stage of construction, the chiller has a thermal capacity of 750 kW.
