Center for Dentistry, Oral Medicine and Orthodontics

Hanseatic town of Greifswald

Task

A new center for dentistry, oral medicine and orthodontics was built at the entrance of the Greifswald University Hospital. The new building designed by the Berlin Architects Heinle, Wischer and Partner provides a gross floor area of 3,600 m² (newly build approx. 2,000 m²) for different teaching practices with the total of 55 dental treatment stations, a lecture hall with 100 seats and different seminar rooms. The production costs for high-quality technical equipment for the entire building was approx. € 2.2 million. For the dental clinic extension, an order was placed by the owners with BLS Energieplan in cooperation with Engineering Office Manjah for conversion of the existing ENT clinic into a facility usable for dentistry with a research cluster.
