Office, residential and hotel building EUREF
BLS Energieplan GmbH plans the buildings currently being constructed on the EUREF premises. At the moment, this involves a new office building which will be exemplary because of taking into account different environmental standards. The implementation of the standards will be controlled by a monitoring concept.

Construction of a laboratory building on the premises of the Rhine barracks (Rhein-Kaserne) Koblenz
BLS Energieplan has been commissioned to realise the engineering of the technical building equipment for the trades 1 to 8 according to § 51 HOAI (German fee regulation for architects and engineers) and to plan the construction of a laboratory on the premises of the Rhine barracks Koblenz (while meeting the requirements of accredited national testing laboratories). The building will house laboratory areas for medicine, veterinary medicine and food chemistry. The project will have a gross floor area of approx. 4,000 m2 with around 60 laboratory units (S1/S2).

Refurbishment and renewal of an existing animal house
The Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine in Berlin-Buch plans to modernise the building 63 which is currently being used as an animal house in order to ensure operation for another 10 years.
The building is an animal house intended for keeping specific-pathogen-free (SPF) animals and has laboratories of containment level 2. The main floor area is approx. 1,200 m2.

Residence of the Ambassador of the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Berlin
BLS Energieplan was commissioned by the Real Estate Abroad Department of the Dutch Foreign Ministry to carry out the planning and construction supervision of the building services installations in the course of reconstructing the former “Villa Schwarzkopf” in Berlin-Dahlem, a listed building, to the residence of the Ambassador of the Royal Netherlands Embassy.

Construction and extension of the German Federal Research Institute for Viral Diseases of Animals on the Isle of Riems
The German Federal Research Institute for Viral Diseases of Animals on the Isle of Riems in the federal state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is being enlarged in the period of 2006 to 2012 with substantial new buildings, extensions and reconstructions (gross floor area of 60,000m²). This dimension corresponds to the Institute’s national and international significance. Upon completion of the construction work, the infrastructure available on the Isle of Riems will correspond to the highest international level of comparable top institutes.

Internal refurbishment of the Friedrich Wolf Theatre in Eisenhüttenstadt
Building services engineering as part of the internal refurbishment of the theatre. Heating of the theatre, accommodating around 750 seats, via a central ventilation and cooling system. Heat supply realised via the district heating network of the municipal utilities of Eisenhüttenstadt.

Hasso Plattner Ventures (HPV) – innovation centre for developing software system technology
The foundation Hasso-Plattner-Förderstiftung e.G. is constructing an innovation centre for risk-capital financed start-ups for developing software system technology neighbouring and linked to the Hasso Plattner Institute and the University of Potsdam. A representative former state railway villa is being redeveloped structurally and technically for this purpose while considering historical preservation aspects. Furthermore two new buildings are being constructed with high-level building services engineering. BLS Energieplan provides the planning and construction supervision services for the technical trades heat generation, ventilation and air conditioning and sanitary engineering. The gross floor area is approx. 5,000m².

German Maritime Museum in Stralsund, construction of the OCEANEUM
Construction of the OCEANEUM of the German Maritime Museum with a usable floor area of approx. 11,800m² for presenting numerous sea aquariums and display tanks of different habitats in the North and Baltic Sea.

Modernisation of building services installations in the Tax Office of Schöneberg von Berlin
In the course of modernising the listed building, the building services installations are being modernised in 3 construction phases while continuing daily work.

Justice de Paix in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg
New construction of the magistrate's court in Esch-sur-Alzette including conference halls, area of investigation and office space totalling approx. 3,500m². The heat supply will be realised with condensing boilers, adiabatic outgoing air cooling and building component temperature control. The required cooling capacities are reduced by using a TRNSYS simulation.

Construction of a neighbourhood building in Berlin-Lichtenberg
In the district of Berlin-Lichtenberg, a neighbourhood building is being constructed on a former school site. The building design by the architects Buddensieg/Ockert was awarded first prize in an architectural competition.

Renewal of the Police subdivision 23 in Berlin-Spandau according to the Berlin Model
The office building of the police subdivision 23 was fitted with structured cabling for equipping the PC workplaces and connecting them on a network as part of the Berlin Model. A server room was set up and equipped with the necessary ventilation and air conditioning. Furthermore, additional reconstructions and refurbishments were carried out.

Stechlin leisure centre in Neuglobsow
When entering the part of Neuglobsow directly on the Dagowsee lake, the construction of a leisure centre is planned there in the form of a multipurpose hall to enrich the tourism and cultural environment of this region.
In order to address the ecological principle of the whole building complex, a balanced concept is implemented in the planning of the building services engineering. This includes the use of the latest technologies in supplying heat as well as pretreatment of the outside air for ventilation and air conditioning systems via geothermal heat exchangers and the heat recovery of the exhaust air via a countercurrent heat exchanger.

Removal of the interior of the building and refurbishment of the listed building substance into a high-quality commercial site with residential buildings, neighbouring the “Hackesche Höfe”.

New construction of a meeting and event facility from funds of the Alfried Krupp von Bohlen Halbach Foundation. The Foundation intends to construct a building of excellent quality as a contribution to further develop the Ernst Moritz Arndt University of Greifswald. Additionally, the historical building of a former pharmacy is being refurbished and integrated into the project.

Refurbishment and reconstruction of the Theological Faculty of the Ernst Moritz Arndt University
The Theological Faculty of the EMAU University of Greifswald with a usable floor area of 884m² comprises lecture rooms, a library, two culture-historical collections as well as office rooms for administration purposes and staff.

New construction of the Neurological Rehabilitation Centre in Greifswald, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania
Four interconnected building structures were constructed. The building comprises 112 beds with hospital wards for intensive care and full service, early rehabilitation, rehabilitation, therapy services of physiotherapy, ergotherapy, neuropedagogics, logopedics, clinical psychology, physical therapy and occupational therapy.
