A photovoltaic system with a total capacity of 189kW peak was integrated into the railway platform roof of glass, running from east to west.

Prize award:	In May 2003, BLS Energieplan GmbH was awarded the John Bonda Prize, invited by the European Photovoltaic Industry Association (EPIA) on the occasion of the 3rd World Conference on Photovoltaic Energy Conversion (WCPEC-3) in Osaka (Japan) for the successful facade-integrated system.
Services	BLS Energieplan was commissioned by Deutsche Bahn to carry out all services, ranging from the feasibility study to the concept, applying for subsidies as demonstration project within the solar thermal programme of the European Commission, coordinating the planning and construction period with the EU Commission, and providing engineering and construction supervision during HOAI work phases 2-9. Subsequently, BLS Energieplan was carrying out the monitoring for 2 years and has been commissioned by the Deutsche Bahn with operating the plant since June 2002.
